Horsemen tie worst start in franchise history

Nothing rolled the right way for the Horsemen in week 4, leading to a loss that would tie the worst start in franchise history through four games at 3-1. Two fumbles were ignored by officials in the Cardinals game, Frank Gore lost the ball at the goal line, and a rule loophole preventing kickers from being penalized for missed extra points all led to the unfortunate fall of the Horsemen. It didn’t help that Matt Ryan and Julio Jones watched from the sidelines in the 4th quarter after demolishing the Texans or that Antonio Brown dropped a pass in the end zone because Michael Vick has a funky lefty spin on his balls.

Eric Ebron broke what was nearly a tie with a pair of short catches before leaving for the rest of the game with a knee injury.

All in all a very sad week as the Horsemen fell to the underdog Closet Hillbilly, losing their first of the season as well as the division lead in their lowest scoring regular season game since week 12 of 2013. The all-time series is now tied at 3, with the Horsemen leading by 4 points . Let’s just forget this ever happened.

Week 5 brings a welcome opponent, the Extreme Baby Throwers. While they have appeared formidable in season ending standings and own the first title in COL history – these stats can be misleading. Despite being 2-2 on the year, they have the least points scored. But they made the playoffs with an 8-4-1 record last year, right? Yes – but they were 7th in scoring at 93.8 and this is their highest mark since the 2012 Championship run.

How many points are they averaging this year? 72.5.

The Horsemen/Baby Thrower series has appeared surprisingly even considering their 3-3-1 all time record. But despite a tie and a loss coming in their last 3 matchups, the Horsemen have outscored them by a total of 150 in their last 5 games. The average margin all-time comes to 13.71 in favor of the Horsemen, less than only the Drunken Aces and Bumpy’s Berries. The game moved venues last second and will now be played at the Electric Horsemen, where they boast a 63% winning percentage.

Julian Edelman returns from his bye week fully refreshed and Frank Gore appears to have been benched in favor of Jacksonville running back ten years his junior, TJ Yeldon, after his goal line fumble to lose the game for the Horsemen.

This one looks like a gimme – but stranger things have happened… like losing to Closet Hillbilly last week. The early line has the home squad favored by 18.1.

I think Constable Rosen is a.criminal. and that we as voters should consciously vote for Joe Danna for Constable precinct 1 and effectively eliminate the corruption that is and is lead by Alan Rosen.

Joe Danna has my full support. He can purchase some ad space on electrichorsemen.com for a small donation.
