ELECTRIC HORSEMEN (8-5, Champions)
ANTONIO BROWN
A castaway from the 2012 Bumpy’s Berries, Antonio Brown was drafted in 2013 by the Electric Horsemen. In 2015, Antonio surpassed Matt Forte with the most points in team history by a non QB – in four less games. Antonio was instrumental in the 2015 championship run while finishing as WR1 – and in the 2016 keeper ceremony is the 2nd player to be franchised in the life of the team.
JULIO JONES
The only remaining member of the 2012 Electric Horsemen, Quintorris finally played an entire season in good health. He now has the 2nd most starts and 4th most points in team history – and is the only player remaining on the roster to have participated in every battle of TC Jester. He finished the year as WR2 – second only to teammate, Antonio Brown.
LE’VEON BELL
The acquisition of Le’Veon Bell in the offseason before the 2015 season was a blockbuster deal – but it didn’t turn out quite like anyone expected. After only six starts, an unfortunate run in with the Bengals sent him to IR to watch teammate DeAngelo Williams run rampant over the COL to the trophy ceremony. This year, he looks to play a complete season and lead the team to back to back championships.
LAMAR MILLER
The Horsemen reacquired Lamar in a pre-draft trade, sending Emmanuel Sanders to the Extreme Baby Throwers – this after trading Lamar to XBT for Frank Gore to skirt keeper rules. They did not regret it. Lamar finished 2015 as RB6 despite a minimal work load. The 2016 season will see him in a high volume rushing offense in the hometown of the Electric Horsemen – a sure opportunity to improve.
JULIAN EDELMAN
As the Horsemen were on the clock in the 2nd round, they desperately needed some wide receiver help to back up their well established superstars so they inquired within the league to see if anyone was interested in trading a WR for the pick. The Drunken Aces, coming fresh off a championship win against the Horsemen, offered up Edelman and management quickly accepted. That pick was then used to draft Vincent Jackson.
BEN ROETHLISBERGER
A midseason acquisition after a surprise drop by Legs With Holes – Ben had minimal work with the active 2015 Horsemen roster. In his 3 starts he averaged 24.33 PPG and was part of the season finale and first round victories against the Nosebleeds to seal the deal on the Battle of TC Jester (for the 3rd year in a row). His benching in the championship game for Derek Carr was based solely on the advice of an 8 month old child. He replaced Tyler Eifert on the day of keepers as the star tight end’s ankle surgery was announced.
